STUDENT OF THE YEAR

The Ohio Elks Association “Student of the Year” Program encourages lodges to participate in either a Student or Teenager of the month program. This Grand Lodge Program proves to be an excellent way to promote Elkdom and enhance a positive community image. Students are recognized for their individual excellence on a monthly basis. The recipients are then considered for the top prize of being chosen as the schools student or teenager of the year. These applications are eligible to be submitted to the State’s Youth Committee, where they are reviewed and judged on the basis of scholastics, leadership, activities and community involvement. Three state winners are selected from these entries with each receiving $2,000.00 award.

Applications may be submitted from May 1 to June 30. Winners will be announced in August each year.
